My reflection
"I wandered lonely as a cloud"
It is a lyric poem focussing on the poet's response to the beauty of nature. A lyric poem presents a deep feelings and emotions of the poet rather than telling a story or presenting a wity observation. The poem signifies the nature's beauty uplifts the human spirit. People sometimes fail to appreciate nature's wonders as they go about their daily routines and also in nature thrives unattended the daffodils proliferate in splendor along the store of the lake without the need for human attention. It illustrates how beautiful God's creation is which encourages us to its highly appreciation.
He made this poem for us to value its beauty and even discover the hidden treasure.
"Paradise Lost"
The story is all about the temptation and how the paradise lost. The story revolves when Satan try to tempt Eve to partake the forbidden fruit. It signifies that we are surrounded by many and different kinds of temptations. Despite of some trails and challenges there are angels on our side. There are hindrances that comes on our lives but if we are on the Lord side we will be safe.
" The Chamber Nautilus"
As we grow up and leave the past behind, we are sometimes being misjudged and our actions misinterpreted. But, we should bare in mind that life itself is an "unresting sea" and the process of spiritual and personal growth facilitated by leaving one's previous situation is a necessary act and an altruistic method of self improvement.
As we grow up we need to forget the past but we need to treasure those memories who makes us who we are.
"Silas Marner"
The novels written by George Eliot are deeply philosophical. It explore the inner workings of her characters and their relationships to their environment. It Silas loss of religious faith recalls Eliot's struggle with her faith and the novels setting in the vanishing English countryside. This novel's concern with class and family can likewise be linked back to Eliot's own life. "Wrong judgement" sometimes leads to criticism. Like what happened to Silas.
"Misfortune may come to us, but there are always reasons for it. From that we will learn to be strong. "
